Fissure Sealing

Back teeth develop with grooves and folds known as fissures. Extending deeply, often these cracks breach the enamel and are very prone to decay. Sealing these with a plastic resin soon after the teeth appear prevents decay. Fissure sealing is a well proven treatment used for more than 40 years.
