BBC Interview about Digital Dentistry

Roy our Practice Principal was interviewed on BBC Hereford & Worcester about the groundbreaking digital dentistry we have implemented in our practice.
Whilst we have been utilising digital technology for a number of years the current situation has seen us deploy more solutions throughout the practice to make your dental experience even better. Enjoy listening to Roy’s interview here.

The BBC were interested in interviewing Roy about our groundbreaking video consultations, 3D laser scans and
a virtual reception service in a lasting shift towards digital dentistry. We have seen a recent surge in enquiries from people wanting to improve their smiles to give them more confidence when we come out of lockdown. We are
among the first in the region to offer patients digital appointments and an annual 3D CT scan to
review their teeth.

We have been providing Aesthetic Dentistry for decades and is now using digital photography, a laser
ITERO scanner to produce a 3D image, and Digital Smile Design to show patients their new look. This
removes the need for old fashioned and uncomfortable gungy impressions.

Roy commented in the interview: “I have over 40 years’; experience in dentistry and think it’s vital we utilise
this futuristic technology for the benefit of patients. Covid-19 has accelerated our shift towards
digital dentistry but even after the pandemic is over, we will still only see patients in person when
necessary for their convenience and to reduce their costs.”

We are really proud to hear Roy being interviewed on the BBC about all the groundbreaking technology we have implemented as a practice keeping us at the forefront of the future of Dentistry and providing you our patients with the best treatment options available.
